Did anyone watch the ABC Family show Beautiful People? I'm starting to sense a pattern, lack of originality. It's hard to be original nowadays, but I certainly can't say I like there being so little originality in this one show. Beautiful People was similar to Gossip Girl in that it was set mainly at a privileged New York prep school with the ridiculously wealthy and a girl from the not so wealthy side of the tracks begins school there. One of the show's main storyline was that the "poor" girl's mom (played by Daphne Zuniga) used to be in love with her daughter's new boyfriend's dad. Sound familiar? Yeah, thought so.
