From the Archives: Including this one from November 2007 to show I can admit to being wrong! I saw this movie (on cable) recently and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It completely charmed me. Now, I'm not saying I don't stand by my initial impressions from the commercials, but glad I was wrong about this one and gave it a shot. Definitely not a miss. Very cute movie with Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, and Idina Menzel.
Am I the only one who thinks the commercials for Enchanted are just plain strange and odd? I mean, this just does not look good. I mean, I could see it being good as a spoof or a clever comedy geared toward adults but it appears to be child friendly with the PG rating, so I don't know what they are going for here. Not to mention it is a Disney movie. I guess it could be a hit or miss because you sure can't tell what the heck the movie is supposed to be about from the commercials, but I think it is more of a miss.
